MySQL With Rails On Mac Book Air

　MacBook AirでRailsからMySQLに接続する為に、モジュールのインストール。gemが賢くインストールしてくれるかと思ったけど、今一歩及ばずというところでした。

$ sudo gem install mysql

$ sudo gem install mysql

色々見つからないようなので、configを指定してビルド
$ sudo gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-config=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config

解決

っと思ったら、Railsを起動すると下記のようなエラーが発生。

uninitialized constant MysqlCompat::MysqlRes

gemのmysqlも、64ビット版でビルドしないといけないようです。
また、Connecter/ODBCも入れておきます。

sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-config=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config
