Amazon EC2のサインアップが終ると下記のようなメッセージが出て、メールが送られてきます。まずは、X.509の証明書を作ってくださいとのことです。
Thank You You have signed up for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud and Amazon Simple Storage Service We will e-mail you a confirmation when the web services are available for you to use. In order to begin using this service, you will need a X.509 certificate. You can Create a New X.509 Certificate or Upload Your X.509 Certificate.
早速、作ろうとすると警告が出て来ます。AWSアカウント一つにつき、秘密鍵は一つしか作れませんよということです。既に別の場所で作っている方はご注意。問題なければ、作成してダウンロード。
You can only have one certificate associated with your AWS account.
その次は、アクセスキーとシークレットキーの取得です。前述の秘密鍵の作成後のページで、アクセスキー、シークレットキーの値と説明が書いてあります。特記事項はありません。
